We are delighted to be joined on our 400 mile epic
journey by John Quinlan. John is raising money for Dessie Fitzgerald. Dessie suffered serious spinal injuries playing in the Cork
County hurling semi-final on 8th October 2011. Dessie is currently
in the National
Rehabilitation Hospital (NRH) in Dún Laoghaire, and is making great strides in his fight back to full
fitness. Like Dessie, Brian Colleran also suffered serious spinal injuries, in
a car crash while travelling to work, and is constantly undergoing medical
treatment.
